Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Chest Waxing.

Most chest waxing sessions at Mancini de Paris take about 20–35 minutes, depending on hair density and area size. Consultation, prep and aftercare guidance are included. Allow slightly more time for first-time clients or combined services.

Trim hair to roughly 1/4 inch if excessively long, avoid sun exposure or self-tanning for 48 hours, skip exfoliation the day before, and tell us about medications or skin concerns to ensure safe, effective waxing.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first sessions, but our estheticians use professional technique to minimize pain. Tips include taking an over-the-counter pain reliever beforehand, breathing deeply, and using numbing cream on request for extra-sensitive skin.

Most clients notice regrowth beginning around three to six weeks after waxing. Growth rate varies with individual hair cycle and hormones. With consistent waxing schedules, hairs often grow back finer and less densely over time.

Clients with sunburned, irritated, infected skin or recent chemical peels, laser treatments, or strong retinoid use should postpone waxing. Sensitive skin can be waxed after a patch test and consultation with our estheticians to assess suitability.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, vigorous exercise and direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleanser, avoid exfoliating for 48–72 hours, apply soothing lotions or aloe, and wear loose clothing to prevent irritation.
