Come with hair about 1/4 inch long (roughly two weeks’ growth), exfoliate gently 24-48 hours before, avoid tanning and heavy moisturizers the day of. Arrive clean and avoid blood-thinning medications to reduce sensitivity and bruising.
You may feel brief discomfort during waxing, but pain is typically short-lived compared with daily shaving nicks or chemical irritation. Our estheticians use numbing or calming techniques and post-wax care to minimize pain and speed recovery.
Hair should be at least 1/4 inch (about 6 mm) for the wax to grip properly. If hair is too short, we may ask you to wait until growth reaches suitable length for effective removal.
Most clients book every 4–6 weeks initially; with regular waxing intervals may extend to 6–8 weeks as regrowth becomes finer. We’ll recommend a personalized schedule based on your hair growth and desired maintenance.
Consultation is required for active skin conditions. For sensitive skin we use gentle waxes, lower temperature techniques and pre- and post-care to soothe irritation. Some conditions or medications may contraindicate waxing; bring medical history if concerned.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Skip heavy exercise and sun exposure, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and use calming lotions or aloe to reduce redness. Contact us if unusual swelling or persistent discomfort occurs.
