How long will Color last on my natural hair without touch-ups?

Longevity depends on color type and hair porosity: permanent color lasts several weeks to months, while semi-permanent fades after four to eight weeks. Using color-safe products and minimizing heat styling prolongs results; schedule touch-ups based on regrowth and fading patterns.

Is styling included with the Color service, or is it an additional charge?

Styling is not included in the Color service. Our stylists focus on precise color application and consultation. Add-on styling or blowouts are available for an additional fee; please book or request styling when scheduling so we can allocate appropriate time.

Do you offer AVEDA color for the Color service and is there an extra cost?

AVEDA color may be available at an extra cost. Mention your preference when booking so we can confirm availability and pricing. AVEDA provides plant-based, salon-quality pigments designed to nourish hair while delivering vivid, long-lasting color.

Will Color damage my already treated or fragile hair, and how can you prevent it?

We assess hair condition during consultation and recommend formulas or patch tests accordingly. Gentle semi-permanent options or AVEDA treatments can minimize damage. Deep-conditioning and professional recommendations help protect fragile hair; full disclosure of past treatments ensures the best, safest results.

How should I prepare before arriving for my Color appointment?

Arrive with clean, dry hair unless instructed otherwise. Avoid heavy styling products and recent clarifying treatments. Bring photos of desired shades and inform us about previous dyes or chemical services. This information helps create an accurate color plan and timing estimate.

How soon can I shampoo after receiving the Color service?

We generally recommend waiting 48 to 72 hours before the first shampoo to allow color to set. Use lukewarm water and color-safe, sulfate-free shampoos thereafter. Your stylist will give personalized aftercare guidance based on the formula used and your hair type.
